NIOS STUDY CENTRE
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) ,formerly known as National Open School (NOS) was established in November,1989 as an autonomous organisation in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India. NIOS is providing a number of Vocational, Life Enrichment and community oriented courses besides General and Academic Courses at Secondary and Senior Secondary level. It also offers Elementary level Courses through its Open Basic Education Programmes (OBE).Government of India through a gazette notification vested NIOS with the authority to examine and certify learners registered with it upto pre degree level courses.

There is an NIOS study centre in the College through Which Boys and girls can pass ClassXll and have a Degree which is recognized by the Government of lndia , valid for all intents and purposes. The medium for appearing at the examination is both Hindi and English . All the text books are made available to the
students by NIOS in Hindi or English as the student may choose. These are supplied free of cost. NIOS is based on C.B.S.E. Pattern.

TERMINAL EXAMINATIONS :
TERMINAL EXAMINATIONS :
Teaching, learning and examinations are the three pillars of education system. To assess the academic achievements and to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching-learning process the college holds terminal examinations in each subjects. Students compulsorily have to pass these terminal examinations.
RULES OF BEING SENT-UP :
1. The candidate must attend the required percentage of total lectures, tutorials and practical classes held in each subject during the period of study.
2. The candidate has appeared in at least one Terminal Examination and has secured minimum pass marks in each subject.
3. No student shall be sent up for appearing at the examination unless he has submitted their Registration Form and Fee for being enrolled.
4. The conduct and character of the student is satisfactory.

The college also feels proud of its rich and well maintained laboratories. It provides adequate facilities for holding science and arts practical classes. Special practical classes are arranged for the students before the practical examinations by our well qualified teachers /lecturers and lab technicians.
